On Sat 5th March Huddersfield Literature Festival will be kicking off their FREE family preview day.

No need to book, just turn up.

You might even get to meet Zog!

Pop down to our Festival Hub Unit 35, pick up a programme and enjoy free fun activities for all the family. Why not come along in your World Book Day outfits!

11.30am-12.30am Dragon mask-making at MakerWorld (Children’s Art School) next door to our Hub

12 noon Official opening of the Hub by the Mayor of Yorkshire Tracy Brabin

12.30pm-1pm Meet Zog the friendly dragon from Julia Donaldson’s wonderful children’s books

1pm-2pm Grandad Wheels Storytelling with Grandad Wheels, book giveaway, plus draw a futuristic wheelchair at Maker’s World

2pm-2.30pm Meet Zog the friendly dragon from Julia Donaldson’s wonderful children’s books

You can also view Our World, My Story in our Hub, an exhibition of photographs and stories from refugees showcasing their favourite places in Huddersfield.
