The Creative Piazza organisations

Thread Republic is a textiles reuse and skills social enterprise. We sell fabric and
haberdashery donations from across Kirklees at low prices (all fabrics are £2 per
metre!) and teach textile skills including repair, crochet and patchwork. We also run
sustainable fashion events including clothes swaps, community fashion shows and
film screenings.

West Yorkshire Print Workshop is the largest open access printmaking workshop
in Yorkshire and one of the oldest in the UK, based in Mirfield and in the Piazza in
Huddersfield. We have traditional print facilities (think historic printing presses,
rollers, inks and squeegees!), artist studios, exhibitions, courses and school and
family activities and events. We love getting inky fingers and spreading the joy of
printmaking!

MakerWorld Gallery and Culture Hub is a creative space from The Children’s
Art School offering regular artist-led experiences, exhibitions and creative offers
for children and families, as well as street art, music and film for young people
in partnership with Skate It Yourself. Open every Saturday from 11am-3pm for
children of all ages, every Friday, 10am-12 noon for pre-schoolers with a year-round

MakerWorld is a creative space from The Children’s Art School for children
and families in the centre of Huddersfield, offering artist-led experiences to
children from 2-16 yrs. Our regular drop in sessions are Saturday MakerWorld and
MakerNoise choir. Open every Saturday from 11am-3pm for children of all ages,
Little Makers, Huddersfield.

CollaborARTi is a diverse and inclusive artist community where

Saving Grace Music is a creative imprint and talent development hub. It produces,
releases, markets, promotes and distributes creative works in music, video, art and
fashion, working with aspiring, developing and established artists. The Saving Grace
Collective is a social enterprise and non-profit organisation that engages people from
diverse backgrounds and circumstances, including young people and adults at risk of
exclusion.
